BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Four questions to narrow it down.

Where will the operator be?

Local desktop switching, access at the rack and remote access over IP solve different needs. Decide where the operator sits relative to the computers before comparing models.

How many computers and users need access?

Count connected computers separately from simultaneous users. A switch with many server ports may allow only a small number of concurrent remote sessions.

Which displays and peripherals must work?

List the video connector, resolution, refresh rate and monitor count for each computer. Include USB devices and any audio or virtual media requirements. Check both the switch and its interface modules.

What is included in the configuration?

Confirm the switch, cables, interface modules, console equipment and any required licenses. Compare the complete configuration and delivery timing, rather than the switch price alone.

LET’S NARROW IT DOWN

Tell us what you need to connect.
