ATEN KN4032VB KVM Switch - Remote Access & Management
The ATEN KN4032VB KVM Switch is designed for seamless local and remote access to your entire data center over a network. With superior FHD video resolution up to 1920 x 1200 and virtual media transmissions at double speed, this KVM switch ensures high-quality performance. It meets FIPS 140-2 level 1 security standards through an embedded OpenSSL cryptographic module, providing peace of mind for sensitive operations.
Equipped with dual on-board NICs, the KN series guarantees reliable and available remote access to all servers. Users can manage their devices via WinClient or JavaClient from a separate location, or utilize the intuitive PadClient iOS app for easy control from an iPad.
This KVM switch also supports out-of-band access with external modem support for BIOS-level troubleshooting, ensuring that IT administrators can manage network devices even when the main network is down. Various access methods are available, including:
- Direct console connection from a local computer
- USB console connection from a laptop
- PSTN connection via modem
- Dedicated management network connection via Ethernet (LAN) port
Integration with ATEN’s CC2000 Centralized Management Software enhances usability, allowing administrators to easily access, configure, and manage IT equipment. The KN series is also compatible with ATEN’s KVM over IP Console Station – the KA82 series, providing a standalone console for secure remote access.
Additional features include:
- Panel Array Mode™ for grid display of all ports
- Web-friendly KVM-over-IP access with HTML5 WebClient viewer
- Integrated with CCVSR Video Session Recording Software
- Laptop USB Console (LUC) for easy console operation
With the ATEN KN4032VB KVM Switch, administrators can manage their data centers from virtually anywhere, minimizing travel and reducing Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) costs.
