The VE1812R HDMI HDBaseT Receiver from ATEN is designed to deliver high-quality video extension over long distances. With its innovative Power over HDBaseT (POH) technology, it allows power to be sent from the transmitter to the receiver using a single Cat 5e, 6, or 6a cable, eliminating the need for additional power supplies.
This receiver supports RS-232 and IR signaling pass-through, enabling seamless control of HDMI source devices from the receiver unit while also allowing access to the HDMI display device from the transmitter unit. The IR signals can be extended in both directions for added convenience.
Compatible with HDMI (3D, Deep Color, 4Kx2K) and HDCP, the VE1812R can transmit HDMI signals up to 100 meters over Cat 6a or ATEN 2L-2910 Cat 6 cable. With the Long Reach Mode enabled, it can extend HDMI signals up to 150 meters at 1080p. Ideal for digital classrooms, video conference rooms, gaming, or any installation requiring superior video quality.
