Designed specifically for mission-critical and high-importance installations in high seismicity zones (Zone 4 or Seismic Design Category "D"), these riser bases meet stringent seismic codes including 2007 & 2010 CBC, 2006, 2009 & 2012 IBC, ASCE 7-05 & 7-10, and NFPA 5000 standards.
Constructed from rugged 11-gauge steel, the SRB Series riser bases offer a seismic certified load capacity of up to 1,000 lbs for the 1 bay model when used with appropriate seismic floor anchor brackets. With a standard height of 24 inches and customizable heights available from 9 to 24 inches, these riser bases are ideal for top floor or rooftop installations, including essential facilities under UBC, CBC, IBC, ASCE 7, and NFPA 5000 seismic use group III classifications.
Additionally, these riser bases are OSHPD approved for fixed equipment anchorage in California healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance and safety in critical environments. Please note that seismic brackets are required for proper installation and performance.
