ATEN KVM Switch KN4064VB - Reliable KVM over IP Access
The KN4064VB KVM over IP switch is designed for seamless local and remote access to your entire data center over a network. With superior FHD video resolution up to 1920 x 1200 and virtual media transmissions at double speed, this switch ensures high-quality performance. It meets FIPS 140-2 level 1 security standards through an embedded OpenSSL cryptographic module, providing peace of mind for sensitive operations.
Equipped with dual on-board NICs, the KN series guarantees reliable and available remote access to all servers. Users can manage their devices via WinClient or JavaClient from any location, or utilize the intuitive PadClient iOS app for easy control from an iPad.
This KVM switch also offers out-of-band access with external modem support for BIOS-level troubleshooting, ensuring that IT administrators can manage network devices even when the main network is down. Various access methods include:
- Direct console connection from a local computer
- USB console connection from a laptop
- PSTN connection via modem
- Dedicated management network connection via Ethernet (LAN) port
Integration with ATEN’s CC2000 Centralized Management Software enhances usability, allowing for easy configuration and management of IT equipment. The KN series is also compatible with ATEN’s KVM over IP Console Station – the KA82 series, providing a standalone console for secure remote access.
Additional features include:
- Message Board
- Panel Array Mode
- Mouse DynaSync™
- Adapter ID
By enabling administrators to manage data centers from virtually anywhere, the KN4064VB minimizes travel and MTTR (Mean Time to Repair) costs, ensuring the highest availability for data center services.
Note: For optimal performance, it is recommended to use the WinClient or JavaClient app. A minimum of 8GB RAM, dual-core CPU, and a graphics card supporting OpenGL are required.
