The ATEN CN8000A is a cutting-edge KVM over IP switch that offers superior video quality with HD resolutions up to 1920 x 1200. Designed for ease of use, it features LUC (Laptop USB Console) for simplified KVM access, a user-friendly local console OSD, and virtual media functionality without the need for additional cables.

This single-port KVM over IP switch allows system operators to monitor and access computers remotely using standard web browsers or Windows and Java-based applications. It connects effortlessly to the Intranet via a standard Cat 5e/6 cable and interfaces with local KVM switches or servers through a custom KVM cable.

Utilizing standard TCP/IP protocols, the CN8000A enables access to connected servers or KVM switches from any internet-connected computer, whether nearby or across the globe. It also includes a dedicated RS-232 port for modem access or serial console management, a PON port for ATEN PDU device connection, and USB 2.0 virtual media capability.

For remote access, ATEN provides a Windows Client and a Java Client, allowing IP connection and login from anywhere. Additionally, the intuitive iOS app, PadClient, makes it easy to control computers directly from your iPad. The CN8000A also meets advanced security requirements with its Virtual Media function, allowing Smart Card/CAC reader mapping to remote servers.
